This weekend i watched Without a Paddle on Comedy Central. Three men go on a treasure hunt adventure, searching for a lost parachuter's body with stolen money in the woods. Their search seems to be hopeless, as the men have ran all over the mountain being chased by a bear, marijuana farmers, and a corrupt sheriff. Suddenly, one of the men makes a realization. There is a huge iron ore deposit in the mountain, and this iron would throw off a compass. Because the iron is a magnetic metal, it makes sense that it would throw off a compass. However, will an iron ore deposit in the ground become magnetized? idk.
