so i was hungry yesterday when i got home and i noticed that we had cup noodles in the pantry. As i was heating my chicken flavored ramen in the microwave, i remembered how microwaves work. Microwave ovens send microwaves through the food, heating it with its kinetic energy. The high frequency waves are invisible to our eyes, but can be harmful with exposure.

i was at waikiki yesterday and i wanted to jump off the wall to cool off. However, the tide was a little low and the reef looked menacingly close to the surface of the water. there were wide rolling waves , and i jumped into a crest of a wave to make sure i didn't hit rock. By landing in the crest of a wave, i decreased my falling time thereby decreasing my speed, and increased the amount of water between me and the rocks which meant i had more time to slow down.
